I always used Book Depository because it's cheap and has good range. Out of the the seven books i recieved recently though two have had different covers to the ones pictured on the site. Still the same book and publisher, just a different cover. Dunno if this is common but if you want a specific cover or anything it's something to be aware of.

Were they Vintage? That's happened to me before. From what I can make out, Vintage sometimes does Limited run edition of some covers, but I think the ISBN stays the same.

For instance, I ordered http://www.bookdepository.com/Absalom--Absalom-/9780099475118 with "Vintage Classics" in the top left - I do think these editions are limited run, because I received pic related, with "Vintage Faulker" in the top right.
