I liked the emphasis on the science behind the spaceship, but the melodrama of the crew got repetitive after a while. Plus it was annoying how every problem a man had was solved by the 1st officer fucking him.
Ulysses

One of, if not the most overrated canon works I've read, even Infinite Jest (which was also dissapoitning) was better.

insightful look at what the novel is and how it has changed (although Shields' definition of novel/fiction is too narrow), w/ inspiring passages on authenticity and originality. highly recommend.
9.5/10. Hilarious. Shits on everything. Robinson was an absolute madman.
