Classic Fairy Tales by Maria Tatar ISBN: 9780393972771
The Bloody Chamber by Carter is good
There's also a good collection of Russian Fairy Tales compiled by Aleksander Afanasyev aptly called Russian Fairy Tales
Calvino's Italian Folktales is pretty great.

There are no "real versions" just variations. Grimms even modified their versions over time, replacing sexual references with gore to appeal to a younger audience.

You misunderstood his point, you tard. The 'real deal' OP talks about are fairytailes published before the 18th century. (They were very different before modernity bowdlerized them; for one, they were meant for adults, not children.)
