How do you guys handle dirty books? Last time I brought a used book home and it gave my bed bedbugs.

Congrats you got Shakespeare and the Bible.
What is that other trash? What is wrong with you?

Throw the book(s) in the washer and then, when it's done, put it in the dryer on a long, hot cycle.
Should come out good as new. This obviously won't fix cracked bindings, torn pages, and what not but it does carry away any grime, dust, page yellowing, smell, and troublesome insects.
