That's one of the greatest stories I've ever read and one of the literary works that really got me interested in literature for the first time
Most critics and readers are chiefly concerned with literature concerning comedy of manners and personal drama. Someone brilliant like Borges or Cisco strolls along and they don't know what to do, so they relegate them as "genre fiction" and forget about them.
