I want to write a book about people living in 2D space hunting a three-dimensional creature. I will call itMobius Dick

I don't know if you're joking but a book with this name already exists
>>7315468
>copying Moby Dick directly and moving it down one dimension
Why would u do this
>>7315488
I don't think that Moby Dick is a 4dimensional entity

sounds like you need to work on your reading comprehension anon

There was a New Yorker cartoon that captured it pretty well, I thought.

If the entirety of the work is transposed by one dimension then the Moby Dick in Möbius Dick would also be a 2d creature. Chessmate, gang

Is this supposed to be funny?
>>7315532
I'm not sure, I like it regardless though.
I like how the whale nearly completely obscures Ahab in size, to the point that it just goes off the border and how simple it looks. It's just this huge object with an eye staring at Ahab.
Reminds me of God or something like it.

You're mixing up a cartoon with a comic. The former is just a statement rendered in drawing, the latter is intended to be 'funny'

It's supposed to be.
Already been done, Boner-Breath.
And here was I, thinking this board couldn't get any more meta.
I came here expecting more book title puns, I was disapointed.
Didn't Futurama do that?

It was people living in 3D space hunting a fourth-dimensional creature.
Completely different.

>dat goatee, spiked hair and tats
still would hit it
