I made a ton of progress by following King's hard-nosed work ethic for several months. I don't think I can write my best work that rapidly but it was really good practice and I'm glad he convinced me to do it.

Bump. There is a similar form about writing going atm and On Writing was brought up. Dual threads might produce different pathways for perfecting the craft of literature.
So which is it? I've written some stuff but scraped most of the shit. How do I stick with an idea past the boredom point?
