"Professor Mmaa's Lecture" by Stefan Themerson. It's a satire on the nature of humanity, ideologies and blind fanaticism (Themerson writes mostly about Europe in the 30's). Impressive but rather unknown. English translation is available, if someone is interested.

I mean he had some tumblr-tier ideas about gender and sexuality, but he had an amazing prose, and I enjoyed every single part he represented Pinochet as some dumbass who was controlled by his wife.
