Read, isolate yourself completely from outward influences. it works like shooting or music, practice makes perfect, practice practice practice. If you stay away from hearing accents, or words spoken, or words written in any way other than the author you wish to emulate, you will lose all progress quickly. my suggestion is isolate and read read read read read. read until your thoughts are written by the author himself, then read some more. it will never be permanent, but after some months, you will be able to save some of that emulation in your every day life as long as you regularly cultivate it.
