This is gonna be long winded.
So, first of all, my vocal cords aren't normal, so I have some difficulties when it comes to produce a voice. It does strain too, so I can't force it too much (I am already forcing it to be able to create a voice at all).

Anyway, in this clip I'm speaking pretty deep back in my throat, but still forming the sound in my mouth sort of. Anyway, I would like to know if it's too horrible, or if it sounds ok?
Also advice on how to learn feminine speech patterns, like what I should think about.

I don't speak english normally.

I guess it's ok?

Sounds a little strained, and like too "concentrated", or compact, if that's a thing.
I guess it would sound better if you can make it sound softer.

no ur a feggit >:C

Kidding. I think your voice is very close to hitting the mark, though it sounds a wee bit forced. I would try to soften it a bit, and I think that should do the trick.

If MtF, you sound pretty good to me ^-^ try doing another recording when you've had rest and I can give you another assessment if you'd like, but as of this recording you sound female.

To be fair, you sound like an older female, one that may smoke cigarettes, but you do undoubtedly sound female.

If FtM you need quite a lot of work.

If cis...cool?

>>6132675
Not sure what you are, but you sound like a dude.

If cis dude, cool.

If MtF, you need a LOT of work.

If FtM, you did a damn good job, keep it up!

Here's mine:

Sounds like resonance, or "cracking" of the voice.
You need to push out more air when you speak, and make your voice come from your mouth instead of your chest.

>>6133444
Same problem here, a lot of "crackling" and/or maybe some resonance.
>>
I have a very monotone voice and it hurts to talk normally for more than a few minutes - would you say this is from weak vocal cords? I tried one of the suggested exercises for like 30 seconds and it was very painful.
