im closeted to most of my friends. out to one.
if im at the urinal, my friend (who i am in the closet to) will come up to the urinal right next to mine, take a leak, and even talk to me.
if im at the urinal, my friend (who knows im gay) will awkwardly pretend like he doesnt have to go to the bathroom anymore and just wash his hands and leave. in his defense, we only ever met because i asked him out on a date.
but its just a bit reminscient of when i was in highschool and my friends would put one seat between me and them at the movies. even my best friend who lived on my floor the entire summer, sleeping one foot away from me would sit with one seat between us at the movies.

Texted my friend who was all the way across the country while I was drunk off my ass that I wished I was born with a dick and it has been bothering me for a long time. I never told anyone else about it. He just said that he was sorry and he had no idea.
Nothing really seems to have changed other than he asks me to hang out more and talks to me a lot more. He probably just thinks I'm really sad and confused though, which is fair.

I waited until college and go to a university with an extremely liberal/leftist political history, so mostly ok. Only been called a faggot in a threatening way a few times (for PDA w/ guys at parties mostly.) My family has been very supportive/cool so far but don't bring up my homosex tendencies often, which I like.

I remember when I was at high school, and some of the kids said I shouldn't be in the same changing rooms as them because I was gay.
Funnily enough though, the other day this straight guy in my tutorials came into the toilets at the same time as me (he knew I was in there) got to the urinals (again knowing I was there) and just stood there hesitating with an 'Oh'. Like, nigga, what the fuck you doing? It was the most autistic interaction I have ever had with an acquaintance, since it forced me to be weird as fuck in response.

If you are interested, you should read novels by gay authors. Proust, Andre Gide, Yukio Mishima, Tony Duvert, Jean Genet. Even William Faulkner has a shitload of gay characters (he was bisexual, pretty sure). They always helped me when I was lonely and confused.

Posted in another thread. One friend and I became closer, the other friend is still cool, but a bit less relaxed and spontaneous I think. Both developed interest in my love life, which is something they didn't give a shit about before they knew I was a faggot.

My dad has been pretty cool about it. He worries for my safety sometimes, not often, and warns me about the dangers of STDs, but since I came out he's been much more willing to talk about how to maintain a good relationship with your spouse. I think it's because I opened up to him, so he's been candid with me.
I'm not brave enough to tell anyone else, though, not even when I could've snuck it into a conversation.

No one really cared on my end. Not too many people were surprised. My dad's other brother was gay and died of AIDS in the early 90s, along with a lot of his friends. He just wanted to make sure I was fine. He met my boyfriend and he adores him, so I had it really fucking easy.
Mom isn't too thrilled, but I don't really give a fuck about her side of the family. Lately she's been very caring and supportive, so that's cool. She's even helping me get food sometimes after a year of cutting me off.
I just think she realized I was happy and in a good place mentally for once in my life. That, and she doesn't want me to put her in a home when she gets older.
I don't know if it's worth doing being attracted to both sexes means I can just masquerade as straight until I have a g or t partner worth showing around to friends and family I guess.
I dont really trust them to react to it favourably.
I have a friend who is MtF and she's pretty much the only person who knows about me in this way. Said this place could be a good outlet, wasnt wrong about that.

Only have a small social circle of very close friends and they were all great.
Sister and her bf were great.
Dad was great.
Mum was ok - had one fairly big arguement which stemmed from the fact she hated the first guy i dated because he was a qt314 femmeguy and passable and didnt understand it. She also pretty much ruined my relationship with him and he broke up with me :(
