Yeah pretty much i guess. I guess my hangup comes from the fact that just thinking of a man doesn't make me especially aroused, and neither does just thinking of a woman.
When it comes to relationships i would really much rather prefer a boyfriend than a girlfriend but i dont know if that actually makes me technically gay. I suppose this thread is just to get me to write out my words on the subject and get me to realize myself. thanks to anybody who's listening i suppose.

Erections and sexual attraction aren't mechanical - I'm gay, I see tons of hot guys in the street but I don't get erections every time. It depends on your mood, the situation, etc. but I know I prefer men.

Maybe, but I know that I would pretty much only have sex with a gay man or a straight woman. Something draws my preference towards the man though. The thing is I don't know whether it's because I haven't had sex with a man before and I am turned on by the idea of trying something new that I would still hold fast with that preference after experiences with both genders.
