>How do you get your meds?
>Are you doing well in your country right now?
>How are the job opportunities for a trans woman(or trans man) in your country?
>Do you have to deal with transphobia on your daily life your culture is more accepting of transgender people?
>Do you desire to move to another country, be in the same continent or somewhere else and why?

This thread will most likely be ignored or filled with trolls, I think I'm the only trans from south america that browses this puppet reaction trading website.

Yeah I guess I'm pretty rare it seems.

But at least I got one answer from a latina girl in this thread, even if you're not trans.

Sometimes it feels like I'm from another planet since I'm the only MtF from south america on this board...

HueBrazil here.

I'm not yet on hormones. I just turned 18 and i'm pretty lost, but as i live in the middle of this criminal shithole, i can tell at least the view the people have here.

>How do you get your meds?
I Don't know how i'll get my meds, as there's probably no one that can prescribe them where i live. I'm fucking scared to self med, but i think it's what i'll do.

>Are you doing well in your country right now?
No one is doing well here, and that's probably worse for trans people. Unemployment is critical, the prices are absurd, etc.

>How are the job opportunities for a trans woman(or trans man) in your country?
Talking by what i know, trans people have a somewhat hard time working, at least in my conservative state. They tend to work in secondary jobs. Many need to sell their bodies.

>Do you have to deal with transphobia on your daily life your culture is more accepting of transgender people?
I live in a conservative, semi-rural place, with a great deal of drug users and that kind of people. It is common to see gay and lesbian people here. They're seen as freaks. I've never had the chance to talk to another trans person, they are probably hidden or dead.

>Do you desire to move to another country, be in the same continent or somewhere else and why?
At least to the closest city, wich is large and it seems that the life is easier there.
How do you get your hormones OP? In wich country do you live? if you allow me to ask.

From what i know job discrimination is high but some girls find a way the only careers that doesn't discriminate is nursing apparently

also i i recall correctly Brazil's form of NHS gives hormones so maybe you need to see a doctor

Argentina here
>meds are free
>plastic surgery is free
>working in McDonalds to save money for ffs (about 10 grand)
>getting my degree
>waiting to hit 2 years hrt so I can get my boobs and ass done, also for free
At which point I'd love to get into escorting if possible, otherwise get a normie job in tech or teaching. Feels good desu.

Urugay here.

My private health care clinic happens to have one of the endocrinologist that knows a lot about transitioning.

Doing well mostly, not really presenting or into full time yet, and still living with parents.

Job opportunities seem to be an issue, but then, the ones who complain about the issue have an old fashioned mentality.

It's becoming better in terms of discrimination, people will use words like 'trava' and 'puto' in common language but imo it doesn't hurt.

Tbh I may very well be the only Mtf that still browses 4chan in Uruguay.

Heyo. How's sex work in uruguay? It's legal isn't it? Is it safe? Could I just drop there one day and get hired somewhere?
>>
>>6533488

I'm trans, but I'm USA-born Dominican. So I guess I'm not the target demographic.

What does that mean?

Nice to hear someone from brazil too!

I heard the situation is quite bad in there, I hope you're doing alright and manage to sort out things for your transition.
Also I was kinda curious so I decided to do some research, it seems SUS will pay for medication and so on the issue is to find a place where the doctor will get thigns rolling for you,
not sure if you have to go to a therapist or there's some specific location,
maybe more research into the area would work since my portuguese is kinda bad.

I was born in brazil but my parents moved to Chile while I was 7,
he was teaching history at university but now is retired, she has a little handcrafts shop.

>>6536506
Good to hear there's normal jobs that are ok with transpeople in there, my mom always said she wanted to go back to brazil when both are retired.

>>6536961
Argentina seems like a great place to transition I guess, maybe I should have moved there instead lol.
Also I'm not trying to tell you how to live but please reconsider the escorting job, I have heard and seem some ugly stuff, go for a normie job and live as a normal girl if possible.
My older sister for example did things she shouldn't let's put that way, now she's doing alright (has a hairdressing saloon) but she's single, 3 kids from different men and one of them died inside a car that was set on fire (he had a drug problem)
Escorting not even once. I love her though I would do anything to protect that woman.

I made a wall of text trying to answer everyone on this thread...

Yeah I think I'm the only MtF in chile too though I'm Brazilian so I guess I'm both?? I don't know.

What do you mean by old fashioned?
I'm not really into the sex work area so I guess I'm old fashioned too.

>>6538761
Look, if it's like in Chile or what I heard in Brazil, it's not a great thing, yuo can do it if you're desperate.
You have to understand that south america is not like Sweden, If I lived there I would probably be more accepting of that line of work down here there's a lot of nasty people that will try to hurt and use you.

>>6538961
I would say you're in, actually anyone that wants to ask questions or talk about it is fine by me, it's not like there's a ton of south american tras in 4chan.

I'm from Chile but I live in the US.

wich part of argentina?
>>

>How's sex work in uruguay?
No idea, I'm not into that kind of stuff. I think it's legal but not sure.
General idea is that it's dangerous as fuck and there have been like 7 cases of murder.

>>6538961
>What does that mean?
It means, we are conservative as hell when it comes to job interviews, and you only get the job if you are young and as normie looking as possible with previous experience.
And most people are either old hons or your typical "special snowflake" activist types. or have no studies.
