One of my friend would like to purchase hormones, has everyone here been in the same situation ?

D'une manière générale, je lui déconseillerai de prendre quoi que se soit sans l'avis d'un médecin. L'auto-médication peut vraiment se révéler dangereuse, voire mortelle.

C'est ça. Évidemment, s'il trouve un moyen de commencer rapidement et de manière légale, il le fera. Le problème c'est qu'on a peur que ça prenne trop de temps, et on a l'impression que plusieurs personnes ont déjà eu recours à l'auto-mediaction avec succès...

Je comprend très bien ce point de vue. C'est vrai que la tentation est grande. On se dit qu'on a rien à perdre.
Sinon, effectivement, si il commence à voir un médecin, ça risque de prendre plusieurs mois avant qu'on lui prescrive des hormones.
Concernant l'auto-médication, je ne nie pas son efficacité, simplement les hormones n'influent pas seulement sur les caractères sexuels secondaires mais également sur un million d'autres choses, donc certaines que mêmes les médecins ne maîtrisent pas, donc ça me paraît dangereux.
Je n'aurais pas envie de faire une transition à la va-vite et sans suivi pour peut-être finir avec un cancer à 40 ans.
En tout cas, je ne suis pas là pour juger, chacun fait ses choix en son âme et conscience.

I've used QHI.co.uk, and they appear to ship to France.
I've heard that their spironolactone suppliers are not very reliable, but their cyproterone (both generic and brand) worked well for me. As for Estradiol, avoid Premarin. If it's viable in your friend's finances, go with estradiol hemihydrate (estrace or estrofem). Otherwise, estradiol valerate (progynova) is much cheaper and only a little less effective/more stressful on the body.
With any medication, be fully aware of the effects they have (desired and otherwise). This is especially important in trans medical care - unless your friend has very good luck, her GP will have no idea how to deal with hormones (prescribed or otherwise), and will neglect to learn.
Your friend should be open about taking hormones with physicians, and should demand blood tests looking for DHT, Testosterone (and free %), Estradiol (and free %), Prolactin, Vitamin D, and (liver enzymes). If taken before starting HRT, that's good. If taken after, insist that female baselines be used (even specialists will dumbly continue using male baselines much of the time).
