Straight guy here visiting this board for the first time
Why do the gays on this board hate trans and Bi people? I thought you were all part of the same team but it seems otherwise. I really don't understand the LGBT view on sexuality; it seems to change from person to person.
Most of the gay men here are self-hating homos that fetishize straight men. They throw trannies, bis, and women under the bus in a pathetic attempt to earn /pol/ brownie points.

Got no problem with bisexuals. I don't hate trans people, but I also don't understand them or have any particular desire to be around them. I don't think they should be ostracized, but it just seems like a whole mess that I want to distance myself from. Then again, I don't consider myself part of the "community" so there's that.

I have always felt like gays should distance themselves from trans if they want to be better accepted. Although I've never had it explained to me by a trans person who wasn't some insufferable tumblr girl shouting at me about pronouns so i don't really understand it.

nobody cares about /pol/ brownie points . I haven't been on /lgbt/ that long but it seems like almost all the trannies here are fucking delusional. I don't know why /lgbt/ hates bi's . (I'm bi myself) and personally I hate other bi girls, don't have so much of a problem with bi guys. I feel this way because there's such a big amount of fucking whores out there just "experimenting" and/or doing it for attention. A lot of them don't even know for sure if they like girls . 4chan is predominantly far-right since Stormfront took over sometime circa 2010. All the "liberal" boards are just hunting grounds for trolls now, even though they just waste their time replying to their own threads to keep them bumped. Most of /lgbt/ split off into generals a long time ago, so we just ignore any non-general threads on the basis that they're probably troll bait.

Me (male) and my gf dated a girl once and have met with a few others and I have to agree with this so much. Most of them thought they were bi but honestly were just trying to be trendy and 'cool'.

Trans people are mentally ill and are living delusions. Im bisexual and they hate me cause what that really means is straight most of the time and only a bit gay some of the time. It's never a 50/50 split on attraction.

I have nothing against bisexuality in itself, but the way bi people act (honestly bi girls in particular; bi guys seem pretty chill) is really embarrassing. I get disappointed when a qt 3.14 girl says she's "gay" but I find out she's actually just a bisexual. (And it seems to be no coincidence that almost every Tumblrina calls herself bisexual, or worse, ~pansexual~. I can't help but wonder if they're straights but say they're bi for SJW points.)
They think they're the most oppressed and underrepresented group in the LGBT community and get offended if someone assumes they're straight, when in reality passing as straight makes their lives easier than actual gay people's. They're super proud to be part of the LGBT community when it's convenient for them, but the vast majority of them (like 90%, iirc) end up in straight relationships and act like straight people. I find a lot of bi girls are actually pretty homophobic, but they think they're absolved of homophobia by being bi, and accuse lesbians who don't want to date them of being "biphobic."

gay people shouldn't be obligated to support bi or trans people cos they're not one and the same. bi people don't fully understand what it's like to be gay and never will because they're still half straight and could easily fall for the opposite sex, then stay with them for the rest of their lives, and experience no homophobia whatsoever. and trans people are another story altogether, having gender dysphoria has nothing to do with sexuality

Trans people are fine, as long as they're not special snowflakes or have serious triggering issues. Sadly, that represents about 95% of them. Also, gender dysphoria =/= sexual orientation, despite the T being lumped on the LGB. This is without a doubt still the main reason many think gay people are cross-dressers/want to be the opposite sex.
The bi people who aren't "highschool bi" (see >>6392423) get to "be gay", but will always, ALWAYS end up going for the safe straight option in the end. Unlike those in the LG group, they get to choose to lead a "normal" life in society, rather than lead a comparatively more difficult life.
They also tend to be even bigger special snowflakes than the LG group, because they get to complain about their oppression. Not saying all bi people are like this, but 80% of the bi people I met were like this.
