I've looked up those statistics and honestly they have been misconstrued.
Almost all of the children in those studies had been adopted by one of their biological parents (almost always the mother) new gay partner after a divorce since it's a lot easier for a gay person to adopt a kid whos single parent they're dating than for two childless gays to adopt an orphan they picked fresh out the foster home.
