well for the most part they're just gay dudes, not trans women. In their culture, the guy doing the fucking isn't stigmatized as gay, which makes sense, since actual gay guys just want to get dick inside them and the ones who are willing to provide it are pretty much normal men who'd put their dick in anything. So the gays over there all become girls to maximize the amount of dick they can get. They all work the stereotypical gay jobs and have the same place in society as flamboyant gay guys in the west.
Some of them are trans though. And it sucks for them, because they're always just perceived as gay and they're such a minority within the minority of ladyboys that they can't do anything about it.

Not entirely true. Most Anglo (cis) women are borderline hon. Severe jawlines, dead sunken eyes, tall foreheads, prominent cheekbones, etc. The only East Asians that have it this bad are Koreans. Thats why plastic surgery is such a big deal there. East Asian men have rounder faces, less severe brow bossing and smaller noses. If hormonal intervention is started early enough mostly will do ok.

In western culture this fantasy is common among men and since the LGBT community is so big and accepting in western culture it's easy for them to slip into the transgender spectrum and claim to be lesbian trans women.
