If I'm switching from orally taking progynova (estradiol valerate) to estradiol valerate IM injections, how long should I wait after stopping the oral estradiol before I do the first injection?
I stopped oral immediately as I started injections. My endocrinologist didn't advise me to do otherwise.

This is what I wound up doing, just finished the injection. It's going to be nice not having to dissolve pills in my mouth multiple times a day. This is painless as fuck.

you do realize that estradiol valerate is only bioavailable orally and letting it desolve like estradiol hemihydrate literally does nothing but take more time and make your mouth taste worse?

Clearly you've never tried it.
If anything it's a positive taste.
Also it worked better when I started doing it that way, not that I care, because I'm done taking oral pills.
