At most of the universities Calculus 2 is a required class. I tried Calc 1 but I got wrecked so hard because my professor was some Russian lady who couldn't speak english.
I hit a massive block when I finished pre-calc so I know I'll have a hard time with Calc.

As somebody with a masters in computer science (and all but the dissertation out of the way for a PhD), I can safely say that unless you decide to go out of your way to integrate it into your work, you don't need to know anything about calculus; you will need to do some moderately complicated discrete math for your theory courses, but I guess how hard will depend on the program you apply to.
