I've heard phenol is stronger and better type for chemical peel. Laser resurfacing is expensive but if it bothers you it's worth considering.
Makeup is probably the best for acne scars, if you only cover the scars and get a tone that matches it's not even noticeable. Liquid foundation is best though because powdered can look cakey on acne scars.

OP, almost anyone can make themselves attractive with a bit of work, some take more work.
Find a good hair style that fits your head, keep long bangs if you got a big forehead. AMD grow it out long in the back if your head us weirdly shaped in the back.
