The laws here mean you get your bike licence in stages, if I did my test now I'd be restricted to 600cc/47HP at most, if I wait until I'm 24 though I can apply for an unlimited licence.
So yeah, I'm going to wait another year and then go for it, I don't even want a 1000 yet or anything that big really, I just wish to have the option to do so without having to pay a huge amount to do the test again.

I'm glad we have this learner law here, the 125 one, it used to be a good system but they changed it and made it very broken up.
A few years ago you still had to get a 115, but you did your test and could get the 600s, then after two years you automatically got given an unlimited licence. So at 19 you could potentially have got a full bike licence.
I really wish I did my tests back then, too late now though but to be honest I think I'd be dead if I had, considering the way me and my friends ride our bikes!

Its fun as fuck and if you saw the riders for dirt racing you would never question your height again. Its all about finding your balance and building the skill up to ride confidently. It takes alot of time and practice but its worth it to become a better rider. I admit I still have alot to learn and the first five years on the road is the real decider.
