The patriarchy is definitely real, not as a conscious conspiracy but similar to how without coordination most major cities in America established lines in which they would not allow African-Americans to live.
Feminism is a revolutionary movement for a cause that certainly deserves revenge, but as someone who would be on the chopping block I no more support it than a French aristocrat could support the Jacobins. It's existence is completely justified and I admire the tactics of its adherents, but as the desire to defend one's privilege is but a simple human instinct, I'll never truly be supportive of their movement and will always want to coopt it with socialism, which gives many an angry white guy like me a chance to maintain privilege within an otherwise progressive movement.

You're mistaken about this entire sentiment. TERFs, by and large, aren't passing legislation. Rather, since back in the days Janice Raymond was considered relevant and wasn't doing everything in her power to retreat from public attention, regressive power structures have recognized them as useful. They are. They use feminist language to promote rigid adherence to specific gender expressions (they claim it to be sex, but the "sex" they describe is, unmistakably, a socially constructed gender binary with typical disdain for those that do not fit its prescriptive demands). They are being used by the power structure feminism claims to oppose in order to add a "feminist" voice to policies of hate and bigotry - this is why their voices are so loud compared to the many, many feminists disgusted by, and opposing their poorly filtered invective.
"Moderate" feminists aren't ignoring this. Radical feminists are largely denouncing this. But their voices aren't amplified by the patriarchy, and the narrative that the reality of modern feminism's stance on LGBTQ issues produces is dramatically less useful or socially divisive/distracting/diverting than the one these hacks, shills, and puppets describe if taken in isolation.
