One thing that's cool about most of the Greek and Roman ideals is that they were actually relatively subtle. The modern "Adonis" is often a lazy aesthetic - bizarre giant beetle people who can't stop shoving food into their face and compensate accordingly by turning it into a sinewy exoskeleton. But this here statue isn't a beetlepeople, it's a fit human being.
