Most of my social circle knows that I'm trans, so I can definitely talk about it with them, but they can't usually help with most things. Idk, most of the friends that I know irl I actually knew before I transitioned, and while I lost some friends because of it, the ones that really mattered stuck with me.
Being trans has definitely made taking that step towards adulthood a bit harder. When I say that I had issues when I came back here in September, a lot of them had to do with anxiety over interacting with people, public speaking, dating, and major issues with my self image. They had sort of been kept at bay by a long term relationship, but when he dumped me I realized that I had a lot of growing up to do. Now that I've finally dealt with all these things I feel a lot more optimistic about the future.
Going international, are you planning on taking a master's abroad? What field are you in?

I even posted a few lewd pics and seeing that other men actually found me attractive gave me a weird boost in confidence. But overall, gaygen is the pest in comparison to every other general.

I'm glad that you were able to keep all of your friends. My friends were of mixed gender, I was in theatre with the ones I was closest to. I grew a lot closer to my female friends after transitioning though. As for friends starting to crush on me, it happened more than once. x.x One ended awkwardly and I haven't been in touch with them since really (even though they since have come out as trans), and the other we ended up together for close to 4 years. Breaking up sucks, and the first one is always the hardest, but I really do hope you don't have to go through the pain of it.
