Ive been pretty pro trump from the begging, but if he actually forms positive opinions of people like us then im sold.
All this bathroom nonsense is insane. One side is clutching their rosary beads and going batshit with moral panic, the other is trying to make transgender identity itself a legal precedent when they should be creating ways we can tangibly demonstrate the validity of that identity.
Here's my proposal:
(1) Discrimination against gay and transgender people is a form of sex discrimination. People see a gay or a tranny and they get buttmad that they're not conforming to the cultural expectations of their biological sex. Transgender people should be covered under laws prohibiting discrimination based on sex because biological sex and the cultural expectations of how a male or female should behave is the foundation of homophobia and transphobia.
(2) If people don't want trannies making gender identity a legal precedent and creating sweeping bathroom laws, then they need to make it easier for transgender people to change their legal documents. Requirements should be a formal diagnosis of GID/GD and a minimum of two to three years on HRT. SRS shouldn't be a requirement because the surgical methods vary by the surgeon and the surgery isn't universally practiced yet. Right now we have legal quagmire with many states upholding a double standard where trans men can get their documents changed so long as they've scooped out their ovaries but trans women need to get their dick sliced up and turned into a vag because penises are seen as threatening. If surgery is absolutely necessary, then only gonadectomy should be required. This method allows trannies to use the bathrooms they prefer and keeps predators from exploiting their predicament.
There, I solved your problem. Trannies get the legal recognition they want and normies don't have to worry about sexual predators pretending to be trans so they can sneak in and assault their precious wimminz.
