We would be set back decades.
I think it would prove that there's a two-trans system. There's the TrueTrans master race and then the Hons/AGP's/CD's/Crazies/Male-to-Fails/Transwrecks/etc. And let's not pretend like all this anti-trans backlash going on is because of TrueTrans people.
It would probably work out better in the long run since no one cares about those uggos anyway, and everyone would start associating being trans with normal passing people who just want to live normal lives. There might be a few actual trans people who get thrown under the bus because they're genetically unlucky, but it's a small price to pay.
