Eventually you will come to understand that your want to be a girl outweighs your fear of transitioning, and it's better to realize that when you're in your teens or 20s and have a decent shot at passing and can experience youth as a female rather than when you're 40 or 50 years old, married with kids, have a body wrecked by several decades of testosterone, and even if you somehow end up passing you'll still hate yourself because you never got to live through the prime of your life as your preferred sex.
Maybe this is a bit fearmongery and not applicable to anyone, but it's how I see it. I already fell for the "male puberty will fix my want to be a girl" claims, which is why I didn't transition when I was a kid despite a supportive family. I'm not going to fall for the "wait 30 years and see if your dysphoria goes away" shit.
I did not get any real answers from last time, so I am posting again. To try to avoid any neurological/ psychological effects from the HRT, would it be best to try to select a SERM or other estrogen receptor agonist, and AA that does not readily pass through the blood-brain barrier? I am fine with not having all feminizing effects (i.e. breast growth) if needed. Bicalutamide does pass through the blood-brain barrier in humans.
