You could. It changes the texture of the hair a bit, but doesn't stop growth. A lot of trans women still have to shave every day or two until they can afford laser or electrolysis.

No they don't make you look younger and they have side effects. They can make you look more pale and clear up some of your acne but these are all things you can do with products if you're not lazy. Spironolactone that most people take for testosterone blocker is a diuretic. It's very easy to get dehydrated. After a while you can look older and weathered because your body is less able to withstand daily wear and tear. You can still keep your beard, it wont go anywhere, but the hair will get a little thinner than before.
