I am 24. The only thing puberty hit me hard with was my chin but I think it's definitely fixable with HRT and if necessary FFS. I hear a lot of people talk on this board about transitioning post-20 is worthless but I can't disagree more. I could see how that would be the case for some people who were always bigger/masculine but I've always been small and feminine.

Well, 7 months ago I decided for sure I wanted HRT. I started the process but then had travel. My band did a 50 day tour so it took me out of the process for 2 months. Got back and planned on going to a different person, didn't understand how insurance and shit worked. Eventually filed for it, got insurance in about a month. Went to my general doctor, told him I wanted informed consent ASAP. His office had to call around and find a good place in Indiana (shitty state). Finally found a new transcare specific clinic that does voice therapy/srs/FFS/etc. They only have one main endo right now since they are new. The appointment was booked back in early April.
It seems like it's a 3 stage thing.
1. Meet with psychologist for general evaluation/informed consent.
2. Meet with my endo, get blood drawn.
3. Come back, see results, get HRT.
Been a fucking terribly bureaucratic process but I'm glad I waited for legal hormones to be safe/free.
