Well it does have a bit of that problem but with the new card cycle or season or w/e they are calling it, they introduced a new thing where any cards that aren't basic cards get phased out of standard edition after 2 years, to force some change in their stagnated game. I mostly play cause I don't have anything else to do and I have a lot of friends who play, I also really did like MTG so it's nice having mtg lite to play.
But yes card advantage will be a huge problem unless you have a little money to drop on it, but now is probably the best time to pick it up if you were wanting to, even considering, as it just started a new card cycle and cards got phased out for the first time, meaning the meta is really wonky and a lot of people just lost access to a lot of their legendaries that were more bullshit from GvG

If you're worried about having a big masculine frame (broad shoulders, etc) then don't be too much, because muscles can make you appear much broader than your skeleton actually is, especially on a fit and muscular body like I'm assuming you have.
I understand your feelings of wanting to be strong. I had similar feelings when I was repressing.
