As I see it the real issue with hons is that they don't want to fit their new life to their looks. It sounds vain, but the way you look as you grow up affects who you are. Big manly girls learn that they can't be cute little kittens, but for some reason transitioning into a big manly girl gives them the impression that they should be allowed to become whatever they want as if they weren't the children of human parents that left them with certain traits.
A good number of "hons" could perfectly go the valkirie route and it would work out perfectly.

20s are generally fine, it's 30s and beyond that are usually hopeless.
The average age of transition is 40something. Your life is 10000x better than the vast majority of transwomen to ever exist.
We were born male, it's suicidal and masochistic to compare ourselves to the hottest women and porn stars. We make do with what we have. I went from a 8/10 male to a 4-5/10 female, but a passable female nonetheless. That was the whole point of transitioning - not to become a new person, but to be my full self.

I'm realistic about myself. I'll never pass without FFS, and I don't have my shit together so FFS feels like a distant dream at best. Even FFS can only do so much for me -- hooded eyes, squoval face at best I'll pass for sarah jessica parker instead of the ultimate warrior.
I already work out, run, trailrun, hike, blah blah blah as much as possible. If anything too much, I'm losing the fat pads in my face which makes it even worse.
At least I got lucky with things surgery can't change -- my hands are smaller than any girl I've ever dated, feet are only 1 size larger than stores typically stock women's shoes in etc. Ribcage and shoulders suck but eh we can't all be perfect.
