There will be passive personality shifting of course, however the way you speak i.e. femininity of your voice depends purely on your own conscious effort. I've been living with my father for about 9 months, and on hormones for about 3 (+1 more month spiro only). So far so good. But it is definitely getting difficult with my breast growth. Some thoughts:
1) Hardest part has been actually acquiring medicine. Started self med and had it sent to my girlfriends house, but I'm not allowed to see her either. Then I got a doctor, and it was hard to explain where I was going for appointments/bloodwork. Fortunately I have a "part-time" job 32 hours a week, so I had that alibi to rest on.
2) If he doesn't snoop too much, hiding the medicine itself shouldn't be too hard. As with any drug you want to hide from parents, there are some stash places they will practically never go for, like inside computer cases. To be extra careful I hide my 2-months of advance supply in an extremely safe place, and then take my current box of spiro and plastic estra dispenser with me everywhere. Also just be careful about when you take it-- I take one dose late at night after he's asleep, and one while I'm at work.
3) As others have said, the one thing you really can't conceal/explain away is breast-growth. Baggy shirts and a slouching posture help, but it will take a toll on you mentally. Furthermore, the more additional signs you give (letting your hair grow out, dressing more androgynously, etc) is only going to put him on your scent more. You probably wish to just start transitioning as much as you can, so it's going to suck having him limiting you in how femme you can go with your outward appearance. For example I completely depilated my body and had to go around in long-sleeves and pants for weeks in case he got suspicious about it. I've also been dying to get my eyebrows threaded, but I know that will be hella suspicious.
All in all, you can probably get away with it for at least 3-6 months. But it's not going to be a good time. Try to develop a plan on how you'll get out within that timeframe.

Do not do this. Binders are really bad not only for growth but also ligaments and whatnot. It's not necessary or worth it. Just conceal them with clothes and come up with a 6-month exit strategy.
