I was at first, but i started getting health problems about two years into transition and my doctor decided to put me on a low dose of spiro with a really high dose of oral estradiol. Went for about a year messing with my dosage because I was getting sick all the time and had been paranoid that the mones were making it worse/causing it. Was constantly cutting back and adding on to my dosages, occasionally getting off entirely and getting back on again because I was so sick. Started getting acne breakouts and oily skin again, corners of my hairline receded a little. Didn't know what was going on either cause my doctor advised me against getting blood work done to check my levels. Was a huge mistake but fortunately it didn't do too much damage.
Now I'm going to another clinic seeing a better doctor. They routinely check my levels and have me on a cocktail of spiro, finasteride and estradiol. Hair's gotten thicker, got no more acne and oily skin, boobs grew a little bit more and I generally just feel better.
Shit got bad but I feel lucky to have recovered.
