I don't think every guy who likes me or is capable of liking me is a chaser but in my personal experience the guys who look for trans girls specifically that I've met have been deserving of being called creeps. I think it's partially because they've internalized society's revulsion and stigma towards them and are highly insecure not only because of their own dysphoria, but also because of how people constantly use their bodies as a means to invalidate their identities as women. Also, society demonizes trans attraction. Any man who expresses interest in a trans woman is immediately labeled a perverted sexual deviant and/or has his sexuality attacked by prudish normies. Trans women have internalized this as well, and it's partially why they loathe chasers.
All of these factors combined make the dating pool extremely small for trans women. They feel isolated and trapped because of their bodies, so I could understand why they'd be turned off by someone who's physically attracted to them because of something both they, and society hate about themselves. They want to be accepted as women and the tremendous social stigma combined with the tiny dating pool and dehumanizing objectification of their bodies makes it very difficult for them to feel comfortable with someone who's attracted to them as they are.
Call me an idealist if you wish, but I think that If society accepted or at least tolerated trans women as women despite their differences and didn't harshly stigmatize a man's attraction to them, everyone would have an easier time. Men attracted to trans women wouldn't feel so ashamed of their sexuality and more would be more open to dating them. On the other hand, trans women themselves would likely feel more comfortable and secure with both their bodies and the men who are attracted to them.
