I'm on blue cross and it covers a good chunk of hrt, costs about 24 dollars for 3 months. I'm not sure the extent that standard Alberta health insurance will cover hrt though, blue cross is generally a benefit.
I'm fairly certain that Alberta health insurance (ie. Your health card) just covers doctors expenses and surgery and stuff.
