Been hanging out with Roman Catholic guy at a tabletop meetup. So how I feel about working the way I do. It's strange in a sense that his boyfriend is really controlling like parallel abusive and everyone knows it. And one the examples being just how bad this is is that, my ex and I have a group of mutual friends that we're all close to. Well his current boyfriend hates it, hates them, me, and everything else. So he attempts to restrict his access to us.
So his boyfriend has managed to isolate him from his friends and support network. The kind of friends that offered them a bed to stay at, a shoulder to cry on, etc. when he came out and what a disaster that was. The kind of friends who love you when you fuck up real bad no matter what and have been together for a decade now for just an abusive and manipulative guy as the only thing in his life.
Plus he's getting ready to take this long distance for a little bit, and it's going to continue to build up and put undue pressure on guy that already suffers from confidence and anxiety issues.
Friends and I are really hoping he comes back around one day when all of this mess blows over. We love him, I really love him and want to spend my life with him. But I know he's going to have to go through more pain, and I hate to see him go through it.
