Not so. It's just if you transition after having naturally higher T/ lower E levels, you're not actually trans.
Being trans and needing to transition (esp. knowing it all your life, meaning your conscious and subconscious brain are altering your body's production just like fear, arousal or tiredness) naturally raises E levels as much as your body will allow (which is not nearly enough.)
If you are high T/ don't look andro by the time you want to transition, it's fake, something you're caught up on to solve all your problems.3

Most trannies are physically healthy males and females with hormone levels within the appropriate ranges for their age and natal sex. The hormone abnormalities that are hypothesized to cause homosexuality and transsexuality occur in utero and only appear to affect the brain's development. This is partially why just giving them testosterone or estrogen supplementation is considered harmful and impractical while doing nothing to treat their underlying dysphoria. Most trans women, whether they are gay or straight, do not pass as the opposite gender pre HRT unless they're either pre or mid puberty, have a natural hormone imbalance and/or a known intersex condition.
