Loved it. Thought it was super cute. Loved Kuranosuke's character and the whole house of NEET ladies. Sad it ended so abruptly.
Funny story. I once tried to get my then GF to watch it with me (I'm a disgusting transbian and she was a cisbian). We didn't even get through the first episode without her freaking out on me, and asking me if I'm just some crossdressing guy who sees myself as such.
We had been dating for a few months, and she was prone to the occasional freak out over things, but none the less, this hurt me. I never suggested watching anything with CDs or trans people ever again with her.

kuranosuke in the anime feels like the type who simply just cross dress to work since it's the dress code in one of those newtype cafes in japan though, as he said he would like to visit the NEET place as a guy instead of cross dress every single time

I hope you broke up with her, that's a bit much. I'm MtF and my cis bi gf is actually the one who recommended this anime to me.
I also watched Paradise Kiss with her and she kept telling me that she liked Isabella and acting like she didn't know that she was trans before that was revealed.

It sounds like she was less secure in her own sexuality than in yours; her identity as "lesbian" probably depended on her dating a woman. She probably already had some doubts about your relationship because of you being trans and the series just made her go full autism in suspicion.
It's one of my favorites and I'm glad the manga is going to start moving again.
