Truvada doesn't guarantee the prevention of HIV transfer. That and other STDs exist besides HIV. The scientists that studied Truvada for the FDA recommended not passing it because the test group started fucking everyone they wanted without condoms thinking they were safe and ended up massively spreading several other STDs to the rest of the city.

It's actually kind of frightening that as people we're just shrugging off an incurable disease and acting like having it is suddenly a good thing. I don't think it's the right move to eliminating HIV and I don't think it has any social traction.
It would be nice if people researched better testing methods more rather than focusing so much on antiretrovirals and cures. I think if the at-home tests had a shorter window period we'd have a much better chance of eliminating it. Fuck it if it causes more stigma, the sluts should stop being so selfish.

That's not what the movement is about. The idea of 'removing the stigma' is to encourage people to get tested, because a lot of them don't do it because they are afraid, not only for their health but for the social repercutions being hiv+ have. You can argue that they deserve it for getting pozzed, but the truth is that as long as people don't know their status they are way more dangerous for everyone else.
There are some retards who are trying to make it a "poz and proud" movement, but that's entirely not the point of it.
