I've flown on many flights, just not commercial ones. I dread going through TSA security. Customs is bad enough, but at least my ID and passport now agree, and show my current face. If anything you may wish to get the ID photos updated to your current face. That makes things much easier because there is less discrepancies. Before I updated them I had a large thick heavy beard that covered my lower face, neck, chest, etc.. That was hard to fit to my feminine face. Especially when I'd changed glasses too.
Another thing that may help me is the scanners won't show anything unusual in my crotch because I tuck so well. A girl with meat curtains has more down there than I do.
