I think lesbianism manifests itself in different ways. Many lesbians have similar libidos to the average straight woman, and the way that their sexuality manifests is similar as well. They aren't really turned on by the sight of a sexy woman without context the same way most straight women aren't turned on by the sight of a sexy man without context. There's a compartmentalization that goes on, that is hard for people with lower (or different) libidos to understand. Just because you are turned on by someone's body, and in that moment of excitement, you aren't thinking about the other person's thoughts, dreams, personality, childhood trauma, intelligence, whatever; it doesn't mean that you are unable to ever view them fully as a person or treat them well a second later.
the former lesbian is more likely to get upset about naked women in media, the later is more likely to enjoy naked women in media.
