I've been told facts about why XX chromosomes means I can't carry ___ gene, or asked for a tampon hookup in an emergency. Every time was really awkward, but reassuring for sure... my doctor won't do shit for me unless its approved by 'the pathway for treatment' and generally has this faintly bemused, faintly resentful attitude that this is all just a phase and i'm annoying for knowing my treatment plan, policy surrounding things which effect me, and his job on treating me better than he does. its very frustrating. i almost wish he did slap GID on everything. My psych did, wrote off my previous mental health diagnoses as 'you tried to repress this of course you went off the rails, you're not bipolar, you don't have a personality disorder, we can even put an exact date on when symptoms of these supposed disorders disappeared going by your description of when you started accepting yourself and started transition'. anything vaguely medical though seems to be a fucking shitshow.

I worked overnight at walmart a couple summers ago. Shit sucked, ridiculously small team of overnight staff. After I was trained in properly, they put me in the pop and water aisles every fucking night by myself.
I was the smallest fucking person that worked over nights (5'5" and 150) and they had me rolling around pallets that were comprised of nothing but liquids and that were regularly 6-7 feet tall. They had a freaking guy that was 6 feet tall and built like a truck working the paper aisles... I wanted to work those aisles... shit was light.
