I think stealth trans are actually a sign of a more troubled society and more mistrust than is some generic homo/bisexual. This is not to say anything against the girls going stealth, but rather the reality that makes that appealing, or even necessary. Cutting off connection to everyone you knew and cared about pre-transition - or worse, having no such people - and revising the history of your life so that no one you know or interact with will ever know you transitioned is a painful prospect.
