Dilation ramps down really quickly. I can't remember my exact dilation schedule but by around something like 6 weeks I was down to dilating twice a day from 3 times. By 6 months it's once a day and I'm 8 months and can do it every other day.
Dilation also isn't strict. You can skip a dilation or even a day or it here or there. There will be times you can't dilate and it doesn't really matter so long as you're not making it a regular thing to skip it.
