Hey /lgbt/, I'm just some bisexual psychology college student attending a small school in rural Maryland. I had some past knowledge about the anti-LGBT propaganda law that was passed in Russia a while ago, as well as the atrocious conditions in which gays there are forced to live in. However, I just saw the videos that some Russian neo-nazi hate groups have been uploading to the Internet, where they are torturing and humiliating LGBT youth. These videos have not only made me despise Russia in this sense; I am just disgusted by humanity as a whole.

Right now, I may be idealistic and not as realistic, but I really want to do something for gays in Russia. Since psychologists there are apparently banned from reassuring youth of their sexuality and that there is nothing inherently wrong with being gay, I was thinking about starting a non-profit organization based in the US that would provide free counseling and mental/emotional help to LGBT youth in Russia. What would /lgbt/ suggest that I do? Where should I start? If there are any LGBT people on this board from Russia, can you please tell me how I can help?
