Is it possible to be gay and be attracted to the opposite sex?
I've accepted that I am gay and my family accepted that ever since I came out when I was 16. But recently there's this girl whom I can't stop thinking about. I enjoy spending time with her and want to be close with her the same way I have desired my ex boyfriend. This is the only time I have been attracted to a female but I feel it is more intense that any attraction I have felt for males.
I know I am friendzoned (gayzoned?) because she knows I'm gay and it will be awkward if all of a sudden I profess my undying love for her.

Look, with girls typically you have to be obvious about what you want. If you don't say something and act like an emo bitch when (not if) she gets with someone else, that's on you. It's possible you're either bi or becoming bi. No one really knows exactly how it works.
Probably though you're just noticing that you're really fond of a girl and hoping for more sensual feelings to follow because you could live a life as a normal straight guy.
Straight guys get the same sort of feelings for other guys (mancrush, maybe to the point of wanting to experiment) but they don't all become gay

I've felt like this a couple of times, too. Girls normally do nothing for me sexually, but there's a few who I think I've felt almost romantically attracted to over the course of my life. Like getting nervous before talking to them, wanting them to like me/wanting to hang out with them more than normal friends. A couple turned out to be lesbian or were just a bit masculine, so its whatever.

to be truly honest I used to be just like you. there was one girl I thought was really hot and always a few female pornstars I liked. but then it hit me: Even if you've only ever noticed ONE person of the opposite sex, you're still bi. just because it's only one person doesn't make you any less bi. you're either bi or you're not. I've accepted that I'm bi, and you can either accept that, or live in repression.
