A question for transgirls. What's your shoulder width, measured as the distance in a straight line from the leftmost part of the left shoulder to the rightmost part of the right one? Like pic related, basically. I'm about 17" and feel like my shoulders could never pass, but according to the interwebz this is not too wide for a female, and not too narrow for a male. Am I damned or what? For reference I'm about 5'8".
Also, why do I feel like my chest/back could also never pass even though I have a 34 bandsize, which is supposedly pretty good?

Band size is kind of an approximation based on your underbust. If your underbust is around 29-30" as I'd assume then that's pretty good for your height, though you may be a skeleton.
17" shoulders aren't too bad for your height. You should be okay.

Biacrominal isn't the same as bideltoid.
If you have 14" biacromial, you probably have 16-17" bideltoid... Which is quite average.
I think 18" is avearge for a guy, so 17" is like average for a skinny guy.
I think the average for females is 15.75".

idk i measured like the picture and got 15" but then got someone else to do it perfectly straight and they got 14" because i was kinda bending my shoulder outward to hold the measuring tape. also googling bideltoid thats what i measured.
i dont think i went through puberty right though because i started at 20 and looked like a 12 year old boy height and all and have no body hair

What's bideltoid? I've measured by standing against a wall and marking where the outermost part of each shoulder would be, if i was inside the wall. Biacromial i think measures less than that. I've also seen a method in which you just literally measure from one side to the other, but you also measure your back's curvature there, so that would give the highest values. Is that bideltoid? Or is bideltoid what i did?

But there are a bunch of mtfs who will brag about their "15 inch" shoulders, while in reality they are quit wide, like 17-18".
Are you narrower than most girls you see?
OPs picture is slightly wrong, because it's supposed to be at the widest part, which is maybe an inch below where that image says.

You normally measure bideltoid with a caliper, it's straight across.
Some people measure over your back basically, but they don't go down the arm, they stop really close to where the arm bone starts.

I've heard conflicting information about where to measure chest... I'm probably about 35.5" at the thickest part, right at the nipples and breathing in deeply. But more like 32" if it's right under the chest ridge as I've seen in other pictures, especially for women's sizes. Still, is 36 like super huge? I mean if 36-24-36 is the magic number, does that mean my ribcage is as big as an endowed woman's chest? :/
