Even more-so when they're in a direct position of power over a trans person where they can force the trans person to mis-identify themselves so that they're not fired, bullied, assaulted, or killed.
I'd imagine that most of the people who are drawn to /lgbt/ come here solely to exert that power over trans people remotely. It makes them feel good, like they actually matter in comparison.
