I have a dilemma.

I'm an extremely passable transwoman currently living stealth and It's come to my attention that I have an extremely good chance of winning a transsexual beauty pageant. I am very conflicted about this for a few reasons which I'll list:

Pros:
>Grand prize of $15,000 of surgical procedures at a surgery centre in Thailand
>I'm an attention whore and love being in the spot light.
>I have an extremely good chance of winning. Being the youngest participant and in the top 3 most beautiful..
>Less than 10 competitors.

Cons:
>Giving up my stealth that I've worked very hard to maintain.
>Going back to being know publicly as a Transwoman.
>Roughly ~$1000 dollars needed to get outfits tailor made. (Ballgown, Lingerie, Swimwear and a themed costume). This money would be taken out of my savings for a local SRS.
>The bitter stench of defeat if I lose
>Competitive tranny drama

Has anyone else had any experience with a miss transsexual pageant? Please I need life advice. The head coach, is trying to take me under her wing already and I could start training immediately.

Post a pic and I'll let you know if you'll win.

There's a miss transsexual pageant? That's a thing that exists?

I can't post my face because I'm stealth but I'll get a body shot up shortly.

If you're NH I'll give you the thousand you need

That sounds like a horrible idea.
I don't see why you'd want to throw your life away for a measly 15000 dollars when you already pass and live in stealth.

no thanks. it's not worth $15k

I THINK YOU SHOULD GO FOR IT. THESE DAYS MANY PEOPLE ARE NON STEALTH, YOU COULD MAYBE EVEN GET MODELING CONTRACTS AND SHIT IF YOU DON'T WIN, EVEN IF YOU'RE NOT 100% ATTRACTIVE AMAZING & JUST BECAUSE YOU'RE TRANS http://www.elle.com/culture/a33237/hari-nef-personal-essay/

It's really not so bad, depending on where you live. If you pass people will still respect you, and because of tumblrcore neo-genders so many people are "coming out" as gender neutral these days but using the word "transgender" (if yo in the first world)

Do you think I might be able to enter a normal beauty pageant if I decide not to do this one?

Not a chance. You’re better off entering the one where you actually have a chance.

This might help with duck feet problems.

What? Cis women usually have short calves and short legs in general, long legs are more clockable.

OP looks like a really average woman, I can't see her winning any beauty contest.
