Pansexual is used to specify that you're attracted to ALL genders, not just men and women but non-binary people as well, whereas bisexuals are attracted to men and women but may or may not be attracted to nb people. Also, pansexual implies that one doesn't really think in terms of gender.

I think the whole 'there are more than just two sexes' meme is pretty autistic desu. Yes, there are hermaphrodites, but they're extremely rare and even then can still be understood in terms of combinations of traits from the two standard sexes. It just seems to be a way for people who like to nitpick details to go 'ACTUALLY, not everyone is male or female!'

That's a crock of stupid bullshit. The very fact that we have androgyny as a cultural staple shows that the "binary" between gender expression is not a binary at all, but a spectrum with two poles. Any feature that someone "non-binary" can invent is something that will already exist in this overlapping spectrum. The entire idea is a circlejerk of redefined terms. If pansexuality is dependant upon non-binary attraction, then it's an empty fraud used to condescend towards bisexuals -- exemplified by your asshole implication that they are attracted to only superficial gender states.
